Roger 2057, YouTube it, Google it, ESPN it! The video took off and started as a little joke between a close friend of mine and a couple of his colleagues.
Back Story: Clemens was coming back to the MLB this past season and my friend thought ''What the heck, this guy is old and he has got to know it!'' Long story short they shot a short and posted it on FunnyorDie.com and Will Farrell gave it a thumbs up and placed the video in the coveted spot of front page and bang we were off!
The video has since played well over a million times and was a featured story on ESPN's Sports Center for a few days...literally!
He was throwing out first pitches at Bo Sox games with his lead actor, and his bank account made some serious surges, it was truly fantastic! Everyday it seemed like something new was happening, deals were being made, commercials were being offered, pitch meetings were opened up for everyone involved. It was amazing and it all came about by keeping on the pulse of what was happening around us.
Two of the simplest rules to follow.....
KEEP on the PULSE!
STAY RELEVANT!
If you keep these two things in mind when creating your video the sky is the limit and the great viewer ship you gain the greater the exposure and the greater the traffic!
